ISAT U Leon Campus proudly kicked off ASEAN\nMonth with a meaningful flag ceremony held on August 19, 2024, at the covered\ngym. The event was spearheaded by Ainy G. Layes, Leon Campus External Affairs\nHead and National and International Affairs (NIA) Coordinator. It featured the\nraising of the ASEAN flag alongside the flags of various member countries,\nsymbolizing unity and cooperation. Adding to the cultural significance, students,\nstaff, and faculty donned traditional ASEAN attire, creating a vibrant and\ninclusive atmosphere. This month’s ASEAN Celebration, themed ‘Enhancing Connectivity and Resilience,’ aims to deepen our understanding of ASEAN’s cultural diversity, foster regional solidarity, and strengthen collective resilience. The celebration encourages participants to explore and showcase ASEAN’s rich cultural heritage through their attire, with additional motivation provided by incentives.
