Rising Gardens are a defiant creative call for revival, restoration and transformation. They are, in many ways, a compassionate call for justice \u2013 because one of the greatest injustices of our time has been the destruction and eradication of Mother Earth, parallel to the ongoing and escalating gender-based violence. We cannot keep the ongoing extraction of women\u2019s labour and earth\u2019s produce, with no gratitude to both. We must honor and protect the Earth and women in order for any future life to exist.<\/p>\n\n Thus, an Orientation and Hataw\/Zumba on 1 Billion Rising 2021 The Rising Garden Campaign was conducted\/posted in our Facebook Page Agri-Chikahan\/Agri Heart and participated by the faculty, staff and students of this institution via Facebook Live and Google to answer the call to RISE to value, protect and uplift those who are doing essential work, to RISE for the Earth. This answers the call despite of the distance and the effect of the pandemic.
