\u00a0 \u00a0 ISAT- U, Leon Campus, Safety, Security, Environment and Disaster Mitigation Management Office in collaboration with the Student Republic conducted ALISTO: A Disaster Preparedness and Prevention Orientation and Training on March 10, 2023.<\/p>
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0The lectures, drills and hands on trainings were skillfully spearheaded by the personnel from Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Operations (DRRMO) Leon Chapter.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t \u00a0 \u00a0 Senior Fire Officer ll Arvy John Mosquera did his lecture and demonstrations in the morning and this was followed by a fire drill which was actively participated in by students, faculty and staff members. In his lecture, he stressed out that safety would be the top priority and the importance and urgent use of the different kinds of fire distinguishers.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t \u00a0 \u00a0During the fire drill, the Fire Brigade Organization created by the university under SSEDMMO worked on their tasks as chairs and members of: communication, first aid, security and traffic, evacuation, search and rescue operation, and firefighting, headed by the very supportive Campus Administrator, Dr. Julito Aligaen.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0In the afternoon, DRRMO Leon Chapter represented by Mr. Ariane Cambel, Admin Aid l on Operations, Warning and Training gave series of lectures and demonstrations on safety and first aid responses. He distributed his members among groups of students for demonstrations and hands on purposes. There were actual scenes for rescue and proper executions of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), proper lifting and carrying of patients, appropriate bandaging and other activities related to the functions and responsibilities of rescue people.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0The whole day event was a success with the active participation of ISAT U Leon Campus faculty, staffs and students.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t![\"\"](\"https:\/\/isatuleon.edu.ph\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/3-1-730x1024.png\")
