ISAT U Leon Campus Hosts Parents’ General Assembly and Parent-Administration Dialogue for the First Semester, AY 2024-2025

Last October 10, 2024, ISAT U Leon Campus successfully held its Parents’ General Assembly and Parent-Administration Dialogue at the campus covered court, led by Alyssa Joy S. Caldina, Coordinator of the Parents Affairs and Relations Office.

During the event, Mr. Victor C. Cabinan, outgoing President of the Parents’ Faculty and Staff Association, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the parents for their unwavering support throughout his term, which concluded today. Leadership was formally transferred to the newly elected officers of the association.

After the turnover, an election for the new set of officers of the Parents’ Association was conducted. Dr. Gabriel M. Salistre Jr., University President, officiated the oath of office, congratulating the new officers and acknowledging their vital role. In his speech, Dr. Salistre highlighted the university’s accomplishments and reaffirmed ISAT University’s commitment to providing quality education. He also emphasized the crucial partnership between parents and the university for the holistic development and well-being of the students.

Following Dr. Salistre’s address, Dr. Gilbert Stanly D. Baylosis, Campus Administrator provided updates on the programs and projects at ISAT U Leon Campus. He reassured the parents of his continuous support in fostering student development.

During the Parent-Administration Dialogue, important matters were discussed, including students’ incomplete grades (INCs), updates on physical facilities, and thesis writing concerns. Dr. Baylosis took note of all concerns and ensured they would be addressed. He concluded by thanking the parents for their active participation and engagement in the dialogue.

The event fostered a stronger connection between the parents and the university, reinforcing their shared commitment to the academic and personal growth of the students. With the newly elected officers and strengthened partnership, ISAT U Leon Campus continues to ensure that parents play an active role in shaping a supportive and enriching environment for their children’s success.
