ISAT U Leon Campus Combative Sports Athletes Shine at RSCUAA VI Competition

Combative sports athletes from Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT U) Leon Campus delivered outstanding performances during the 2024 Regional State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (RSCUAA VI) Sports Festival and Conference, held on December 15-20, 2024, and hosted by Iloilo State University of Fisheries Science and Technology (ISUFST).

The competition, which ran from December 17–18 for combative sports, witnessed ISAT U Leon Campus athletes clinching prestigious medals. Jason Christian N. Molon secured a Silver Medal in the Arnis Men’s Fin Weight Category, showcasing exceptional skill and determination. Meanwhile, Joshua C. Cabristante earned a Bronze Medal in the Taekwondo Men’s Middle Weight Category, reflecting his dedication and hard work.

These achievements highlight the athletes’ commitment and the pivotal role of their coach, Mr. Joebert Gagante, whose guidance and unwavering support significantly contributed to their success.

The remarkable accomplishments of ISAT U Leon Campus athletes serve as a testament to their perseverance and teamwork, bringing pride and inspiration to the university community. Their success underscores the potential for continued excellence in future competitions.
