ISAT U Leon Campus tendered a testimonial dinner in honor of Jefferson Tadulan Orr, ranked 7th in the Licensure Examination for Agriculturists along with other LEA and LET passers.
Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT U) Leon Campus tendered a testimonial dinner in honor of Jefferson Tadulan Orr, who ranked 7th in the Licensure Examination for Agriculturists (LEA) along with other passers given on November 2022 and passers for Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) given on October 22 in Iloilo City. The program was held at the covered court of the university.
The program started with an opening prayer by Mr. Christian C.Taba, followed by the playing of the National Anthem, ISAT U Hymn, and Leon Hymn on record.
ISAT U Head of Instruction Mrs. Mary Antonette A. Baylosis gave her welcome remarks. In her message, she thanked the ISAT U President Dr. Raul F. Muyong for supporting ISAT U Leon Campus. She also expressed gratitude to Agriculture faculty who untiringly helped the graduates for their review.
In his message, Dr. Raul F. Muyong, University President stood proud of the achievement of Leon Campus through Jefferson T. Orr along with other sixty-four (64) new agriculturists. He also congratulated the fifteen (15) passers of Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET). He reminded them saying that “Passing the LEA and LET is a huge accomplishment but your journey has just started. Aside from your skills and competence, you must imbibe and live out the values for which this university stands. Remember that in your dealings and practice, you do not carry only your family name but also the name of the very institution which trained you and educated you.” Dr. Muyong was also grateful to the service of the staff and faculty members in achieving excellent education under the leadership of Dr. Julito C. Aligaen.
Testimonies were delivered by Dr. Eric James P. Talagon, Chairman LEA Review 2022, Ms. Clarissa A. Canaway, LEA passer and Ms. Kristine Joy S. Hervias, LET passer.
Dr. Talagon, one of his mentors, shared Orr’s academic journey, his being very inquisitive, curious, his sense of leadership, a family-oriented and God-fearing person. Ms. Canaway, said that, Orr as a friend has always something to give like good memories, lessons to learn and can make dull moments lively. Ms. Kristine Joy Hervias, also thanked the faculty and staff members of the university for being part of their success in passing LET board examination.
A response from Mr. Jefferson T. Orr was heard. He acknowledged and thanked people who supported him; his parents, his Tito Rhasy, friends and classmates, ISAT U Leon Campus family headed by Dr. Julito Aligaen, and Dr. Raul Muyong, University President. He shared his experiences from the review period to examination time.
Hon. Hilario Taño represented the Local Government Unit of Leon read and handed over the resolution.
Mr. Jefferson T. Orr was awarded certificate, plaque of recognition, and cash incentives. Dr. Julito C. Aligaen delivered his closing remarks. Ms. Keith S. Guantero was the program Host.
