ISAT U Leon Campus Enhances  Personnel Capacity with RA 9184

The ISAT U Leon Campus conducted an orientation on the key features of Republic Act No. 9184 and its 2016 Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) on March 1, 2024, at the second floor of the university library. The event was attended by the local Bids and Awards Committee, led by Engr. Reynaldo C.  Juance, along with the BAC Secretariat and various Technical Working Groups (TWGs).

Mercy L. Diaz, the Procurement Management Office head, elaborated on the fundamental concepts and principles of the law, emphasizing the significance of RA 9184 in establishing good governance protocols to ensure efficient and effective procurement within the university.

The university personnel actively participated in the open forum, seeking clarifications and posing questions on the law. This activity raises awareness of procurement processes and enhances the capacity of university  personnel to handle procurement-related tasks effectively.
