ISAT U Leon Campus reaches out to different high schools in Iloilo to conduct Agriculture Career Awareness
  Oftentimes, students interested in the Agriculture industry have limited information regarding the course. Stereotypically, the industry is centered on farming and the role of farmers. Though this is an important role, there are many career opportunities in this field. It is deemed necessary for students to be well informed so as to eliminate the knowledge gap and encourage interested students to pursue a career in Agriculture.
   Spearheaded by the Guidance Counselor, Mrs. Nerfe T. Florendo together with the representatives from other offices, the activity provided an opportunity for incoming first year college students to refine their understanding of careers in Agriculture. Ms. Riza Mae C. Andoloy, an Instructor of ISAT U Leon and a Licensed Agriculturist delivered an interactive and informative talk. Mr. Quirino C. Aligaen, Jr. , Admission Officer and head of OSAS discussed the admission requirements and procedures as well as the available scholarship grants.
