Faculty, Alumni and Students attend YFC and BMC Orientation

The Young Farmers Challenge (YFC) program Start-Up component and Business Model Canvass (BMC) orientations were held at the Iloilo Science and Technology University Leon Campus on June 26, 2023, which was participated by the faculty, alumni, and students of the institution.

Dr. Julito C. Aligaen, campus administrator, gave an enthusiastic welcome presentation to kick off the YFC campaign and BMC orientation. This is to show his recognition, warm support, and advocacy for food security, and sustainable agriculture. He also inspired young farmers towards the goals of the Mangunguma @25 program.

The YFC program was fully chronicled by Ms. Rhea Cristina G. Resol, YFC 6 Focal Person, including this year’s achievements and significant information on the program’s implementing guidelines.

Ms. Jeanaveb M. Dacles, PMT 6, provided an overview of the documentary requirements in the sessions that followed. Ms. Karen L. Mijares, YFC 6 Alternate Focal Person, instigated the BMC orientation by going over the required paperwork, the information contained in the BMC, and financial records.
