ISAT U President Leads Flag Raising Ceremony at Leon Campus

Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT U) Leon Campus welcomed University President Dr. Gabriel M. Salistre, Jr., SUC President III, during the flag-raising ceremony on May 5, 2025. His presence highlighted the university’s commitment to strengthening unity, inclusivity, and development across all campuses.

The event took on a more vibrant atmosphere as faculty members and non-teaching personnel wear ASEAN-inspired outfits, symbolizing cultural pride and the spirit of “unity in diversity.” This gesture reflects ISAT U’s dedication not only to academic excellence but also to fostering appreciation of heritage and regional identity within its community.

In his visit, Dr. Salistre personally greeted faculty, staff, and students, creating an atmosphere of warmth and camaraderie. He also took the opportunity to inspect facilities and ongoing campus development projects, ensuring that progress aligns with the university’s vision of providing quality education supported by modern and sustainable infrastructure.

The University President’s message emphasized inclusivity, assuring the Leon Campus community that “no campus will be left behind” in ISAT U’s journey toward holistic excellence. His commitment resonates with the university’s mission to continually uplift education standards, enhance campus facilities, and nurture the potential of every ISAT U student.
