Empowering the next generation of farmers!  Bachelor of Science in Agriculture students at ISAT U Leon Campus are putting theory into practice with a hands-on demonstration of the Rice Reaper. This activity was spearheaded by their instructor, Mr. Ryan C. Alimo-on and with Mr. Ullysis Caldina.

The Rice Reaper, a modern harvesting machine, was the focal point of the demonstration. This innovative technology not only boosts productivity by streamlining the harvesting process but also plays a critical role in reducing post-harvest losses, a major challenge in the agriculture sector. By using the Rice Reaper, farmers can improve the efficiency and sustainability of their operations, ensuring a more secure food supply for communities and contributing to overall food security.

Through this demonstration, our students gain valuable experience with cutting-edge tools that will shape the future of farming.  The Rice Reaper not only increases productivity but also minimizes post-harvest losses, contributing to food security and sustainability. The future of farming is in capable hands, and we’re proud to see our students embrace these innovations!
