ISAT U Leon Campus Recognition and Donning Ceremony Honors Graduating Class of 2025

Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT U) Leon Campus proudly held its Recognition and Donning Ceremony on June 6, 2025, at the Leon Municipal Gymnasium, honoring the hard work, dedication, and achievements of its graduating students.

The ceremony paid tribute to the resilience and accomplishments of the graduating class, marking the culmination of four years of rigorous academic preparation and holistic formation. Faculty members, proud parents, university officials, and invited guests filled the gymnasium in a gathering that celebrated the students’ achievements and leadership potential.

Serving as the Recognition Speaker was MAJ Darwin C. Cajada (INF) PA, Executive Officer of the 14th Infantry Battalion, 8ID, Philippine Army. In his inspirational message, MAJ Cajada challenged the graduates to never settle for comfort and to embrace life’s pressures as signs of growth. He encouraged the students to pursue continuous self-development and to remain resilient in the face of adversity.

“Do not be afraid of pressure,” he emphasized. “Pressure shapes character. Challenges refine your strength. Never settle for what is easy when you can achieve greater things.”

One of the most anticipated highlights of the program was the symbolic donning ceremony, during which students were formally vested with their academic collars. The rite signified their readiness to take on greater responsibilities and represented the fruits of years of dedication, sacrifice, and perseverance.

As the graduates prepare to embark on new journeys-whether in further education, careers, or other pursuits-the university sends them off with pride and confidence that they are ready to make meaningful contributions to society.

With heads held high and dreams firmly in sight, the Class of 2025 steps forward, carrying with them the legacy of excellence and the enduring spirit of ISAT U.
