ISAT U Leon Campus Conducts Parents-Administration Dialogue

Parents are important stakeholders of the university. Their active participation in the programs and activities of the school creates positive impact on the learning development of the child. The university ensures that parents are well-informed about their son’s and daughter’s schools’ activities and the kind of help they could extend to them.

Last October 06, 2023, the Parents-Administration Dialogue was held at 9:30 o’clock in the morning at the university covered court. Mr.  Melchor D. Cala-or, Head of Instruction, warmly welcomed the students’ parents and guardians.

Dr. Julito C. Aligaen, Campus Administrator gave updates on programs and projects of the university. The university is into organic farming and he wanted to have more initiatives to promote it. He happily announced to the parents that the university offers portable water to the students. He assured the parents that his administration always supports the needs of the students.

Mr. Victor C. Cabinan, Parents, Faculty and Staff Association (PFSA) president gave updates about the association. It was their first meeting with the parents  after the election of new set of officers last February 17, 2023.

It was followed by an open forum  facilitated by  Mr. Manuel T. Rebostis, (PFSA) as a moderator. Parents actively expressed their queries about their children’ academics. The university’s representatives answered the questions of the parents. Additional PFSA fee and payment for drinking water were also discussed.

The dialogue is a good venue to maintain  an open communication and healthy relationship with the parents.
