Brgy. Danao: Consultative Meeting and Site Visit
   The Office of Extension Services Division successfully conducted its ocular inspection of the approximated 101 hectares of land awarded to the University through its Adopt-A-Mountain Program by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources at Sitio Manghulas, Brgy. Danao, Leon, Iloilo.
   Pursuing the University’s plan in rehabilitating the above mentioned area, the consultative meeting with the farmers and barangay officials of Danao was conducted through the leadership of Ms. Keith S. Guantero and Mr. Michael Ray J. Burlas, project leaders.
  Site visit and mapping were also done so as to identify the areas intended for agricultural crops production, areas for forest reserve and denuded areas that need rehabilitation.
  The activities were beneficial to the farmer recipients and the community people, for the successful implementation and management of the project will restore the long-lasting profits of the Adopt-A-Mountain program of the University.
  Dr. Gilbert Stanly D. Baylosis, Ms. Florence C. Cabancalan, Mr. Christian C. Taba, Ms. Jertz Vlyn D. Escala, Mr. Melchor D. Cala-or, Mr. Francis S. Sendin, Mr. Joebert Gagante, Ms. Zia Bianca C. Sajo, Ms. Nhormaine Joy Tuhao, and Mr. Jovian C. Salvador were the members of the faculty and staff who joined the expedition.
