Agriculture Careers Awareness Activity
Choosing a career path can be a perplexing experience for students. It is vital that young individuals have well informed career planning for them to have a realistic picture of their college education journey as well as their career path. Thus, career awareness in different fields help learners explore their passion and interests to better understand themselves and their community.
ISAT U Leon Campus, once again visited National High Schools in Iloilo to introduce Agriculture Degrees offered by the University as well as its potential careers and profession. Together with core faculties from the College of Agriculture namely Ms. Marika Anne V. Antonio, L.Agr. , Ms. Riza Mae C. Andoloy, L.Agr. and Engr. Joesan Marri T. Ferasol, the activity allowed students to get a glimpse of the Agriculture industry. They shared their academic journey towards becoming a licensed Agriculturist, their personal career path and goals and the advantageousness of an Agriculture degree. The dynamic and interactive talk with them helped learners promote a linkage between their academic goals and potential professional endeavor in the field of agriculture.
