Echo-seminar on Module Writing Workshop
Due to the occurrence of the Covid-19 pandemic, a lot of unexpected changes in the country’s educational landscape happened. Schools were forced to make transitions from the conventional face to face to flexible learning approaches.
To help teachers adapt to the new approaches in learning, the Iloilo Science and Technology University conducted a training to enhance the knowledge and capability of faculty members for the new approaches.
Since only few are allowed to attend the said training, ISAT U Leon Campus disseminated the information gained from the training through an echo-seminar.
The echo-seminar was conducted at ISAT U Leon Campus Library Function Hall last July 3, 2020. It aimed to train the faculty in module writing to help them in the preparation of instructional materials for the forthcoming academic year.
The echo-seminar activity included lecture on module writing discussed by faculty members attended the training at ISAT U Lapaz Campus namely; Mrs. Wyonna Caldito, Mr. Christian Taba, Mrs. Sarah Jane Jucal and Miss Keith Guantero. It was then followed by a two hour workshop proper. The afternoon session was spent for the presentation of outputs and a lecture about recalibrating learning outcomes, revisiting course requirements, determining delivery modes of instruction for laboratory courses, and re-conceptualizing student-teaching for BTVTED program discussed by Mr. Gilbert Stanly Baylosis.
The activity ended with the closing remarks of Dr. Ma. Eugenita C. Capaciete, Campus Administrator ISAT U Leon Campus.
